On this sacred occasion of the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, we remember and celebrate the life, humility, and divine compassion of the youngest Sikh Guru, lovingly known as Bala Pritam.
Born in 1656, Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji became the eighth Guru at just five years old. Despite His young age, His wisdom, purity, and service to humanity left an eternal mark. During a devastating outbreak of smallpox and cholera in Delhi, Guru Sahib selflessly served the sick, offering healing and hope — ultimately sacrificing His own health for the well-being of others.
✨ A Legacy of Compassion and Seva
Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji’s teachings remind us that age is no barrier to greatness, and that true service lies in helping others selflessly. His sacred words “Baba Bakale” — a message of guidance for the future — continue to guide generations of Sikhs.
🙏 Sangat Invitation
Let us all come together in Simran, Kirtan, and Ardas to honor the legacy of Guru Ji on this auspicious day. May His blessings guide us toward humility, service, and love for all humanity.
